I always have a GREAT time when I go to the Union Terminal. The museums and movies are wonderful.I always go to the OMNIMAX theater with my family and we are always surprised and entertained when watching such great movies. But in my fondest memory of Union Terminal is the little booth that you can take pictures for $3.00 . My family talked my parents into taking a few pictures in the portrait studio booth. We had such a great time watching them do such silly faces and enjoying themselves. Not to mention they are both in their 60's with five kids and nine grandchildren. So to see them having a great time with a $3.00 machine was just good clean fun. Most people would think it's a waste of time and money to do something silly like having your picture taking in those things. I LOVE that picture of them, it's priceless to me. You see...later that year my dad had stage four melanoma skin cancer. After I watched the weight and hair go he always had that smile. I always would go back to that silly picture for that's how I remember my dad and how much fun we had together that day.We lost him in November last year and every time I go back to Union Terminal I think of my parents and that silly picture. You just never know how PRICELESS a $3.00 picture might be.
